The Outpost is her first significant part in the US as her previous filmographies were from Australia. Jessica can play the role of a strong woman due to her enthusiasm for action, her mixed martial arts abilities and her riding horse, weapon and firearms abilities, and her athletic skills. In Australia she learned muay Thai as well as boxing. Jake Stormoen, shooting Season 4 of the show was able to meet a puppy that wandered around on set. The one dog turned out to be part of a litter of stray pups, which had taken shelter in the set. Jessica took care of both puppies.
